The Summit of the European Political Community (EPC) held in Bulboaca has concluded with resounding success, featuring the participation of 48 heads of state, prime ministers, and high-ranking officials of the European Union.

This event has catapulted the Republic of Moldova to unprecedented international visibility, with nearly 700 journalists reporting in real-time from the venue.

The collective effort made by the entire country to showcase Moldova’s aspirations for a European future has been met with triumph. Authorities and citizens have demonstrated their responsibility, determination, and proactive attitude.

According to the General Inspectorate of the Moldovan National Police, during the organization of the Summit from May 31st to June 2nd, the national security situation remained normal without incidents that could endanger the event’s stability or the country as a whole.

“Regarding public order at the national level, there were no situations that required authorities to intervene. Only in the capital, authorities took action to discourage groups of individuals who intended to protest within the security perimeters established for the EPC Summit, particularly near the accommodation locations. Following dialogue, the groups understood that they could exercise their right to freedom of expression outside the security area, with the police ensuring their safety during movement and demonstrations.”
