On March 1, the Republic of Moldova celebrates Martisor Day, a symbol of spring that unites the traditions of several countries.
People give and wear martisor as part of an old folk custom that carries rich meaning. In its classic form, the martisor features a small decorative object tied to a red-and-white string — colors that symbolize the harmony of purity and passion, as well as life, love, and fertility.
The future of the country lies within each of us. Every small step brings a big change, and the choices we make today shape the lives of generations to come. With hope that every citizen will rise as high as possible and bring pride to Moldova on the world stage, Grupul Media Realitatea runs the campaign “Moldova that unites us.”
