Moldovan Citizens Voting Abroad Must Pre-Register by August 14 for Parliamentary Elections

Moldovan citizens planning to vote abroad in the parliamentary elections on September 28 are encouraged to pre-register by August 14, 23:59:59 Moldovan time. While pre-registration is optional, it is crucial for the smooth organization of polling stations overseas, according to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).

Pre-registration helps estimate the number of diaspora voters and guides decisions on opening polling stations abroad. Without it, some locations may face insufficient or inaccessible polling stations.

Voters who pre-register will be removed from the main Moldovan electoral list and added to special lists at foreign polling stations. The collected data are used exclusively for election purposes and are protected by personal data protection laws.
