Oriental Music Night’ is an event that aims to highlight the contrasts, sensuality, and beauty of Eastern cultures through music. The concert will encompass music originating from China, Iraq, Afghanistan, Armenia, Israel, Romania, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Turkey, and Greece. The musical surprise of the evening will be the Turkish-inspired works by Dimitrie Cantemir, presented for the first time.
The concert will take place on June 30th, starting at 7:00 PM, in the courtyard of the National Museum of History of Moldova, which will open its doors to all those wishing to experience an Oriental tale brought to life by the orchestra musicians under the baton of conductor Andriano Marian. He emphasizes that Oriental music is a cultural space full of contrasts and colors.
"We consider this event to be a rare gem among the cultural events in our country. Adapting musical compositions for the symphony orchestra is becoming increasingly rare in the world of music, which is why we are delighted to carry out this project in the Republic of Moldova. Oriental music is a treasure of humanity, a cultural space full of contrasts and colors, and therefore, we eagerly await the opportunity to meet with the audience at this event," says Andriano Marian."

In turn, the composer of the project, Dan Èšurcanu, stated that through this event, they aim to create an imaginary musical journey. “We will explore the erotic landscapes of the past, such as the kingdom of Al-Andalus, the sands of the Egyptian pyramids, Baghdad – the cradle of civilizations, and the Forbidden City. The music we will explore is absorbed and developed from the perspective of a modern classical composer and will be performed by the most virtuosic musicians of their respective instruments.”
During the concert, bean bags will be provided for you to enjoy beautiful moments in comfort, and Divus Vinery will offer a welcome drink.
Additionally, the organizers promise an after-party with an Oriental music playlist curated by DJ Denix.
