Moldovan athletes won four medals – one silver and three bronze – at the European Para-Judo Championships for seniors in Heidelberg, Germany.
Ina Cernei achieved Moldova’s best result, winning the silver medal in the J1 -70 kg category. She reached the podium of a continental championship for the first time in her career.
In the men’s competition, Nicolai Bondarev won bronze in the J2 -95 kg category, while Ion Basoc secured bronze in the J1 +95 kg category and Oleg Cretul took bronze in the J1 -95 kg category.
At the previous edition of the European Championships, Ion Basoc won the silver medal, while Oleg Cretul also claimed bronze.
