Moldovan summer camps opened their doors for Ukrainian refugee children

Summer camps in the Republic of Moldova have opened their doors for the children of refugees from Ukraine. This year, for the first time, the Ministry of Education and Research, through the local bodies specialized in the field of education, together with the Ministry of Labor have identified solutions to ensure rest of children from refugee families from Ukraine in summer camps in the Republic of Moldova, permanently monitoring the situation in question.

Up to this moment, about 180 refugee children from Ukraine have rested in the summer camps on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

The Ministry of Education and Research comes to the aid and support of children and adolescents both from refugee families and from the Republic of Moldova, paying more attention to the organization of children’s rest and the development of communication and friendship relationships. This year, the Ministry of Education and Research additionally offers free tickets to the “Pearls of the Dniester” summer camp for children at Vadul lui Voda in the following periods of summer:

31.07. – 09.08.2022 (exchange I), 200 children,
11.08. – 20.08.2022 (second exchange), 200 children,
22.08. – 31.08.2022 (exchange III), 400 children.
