Moldovan track and field athlete wins gold for the third time at the Balkan Championships

Athlete Dimitriana Bezede clinched the top spot in the shot put event at the Balkan Athletics Indoor Championships, hosted in Istanbul, Turkey.

Under the guidance of coach Vadim Hranovschi, Bezede soared to victory with a remarkable throw measuring 17 meters and 86 centimeters, coming close to her personal best of 18.83 meters.

This achievement marks Bezede’s third consecutive Balkan championship title, adding to her previous triumphs in 2017 and 2019.
