Nina Hariton, originally from the village of Slobozia Mare, Cahul municipality, has won the 11th season of the culinary competition “Chefi la Cuțite” (Chefs with Knives). She competed as part of the red team led by chef Sorin Bontea.
In the grand finale, Nina Hariton competed alongside Paul Tudosescu (Pablo) from chef Cătălin Scărlătescu’s team and Laurențiu Neamțu from the team led by chef Florin Dumitrescu.
The finalist went home with the grand prize worth 30,000 euros.
It is worth mentioning that Nina Hariton is also the first woman from the Romanian show “Chefi la cuțite” to receive three golden knives. During the show, she chose to prepare a chicken breast with broccoli puree and sautéed Brussels sprouts and kumquats.
In 2019, Moldovan head chef Alexandru Comerzan became the winner of the seventh season of the Romanian competition “Chefi la Cuțite”.
