The volume of natural gas consumption in the current month of November was 63.1 million cubic meters, which is about 55.5% less compared to the same period of 2021. At the same time, according to the public relations service of Moldovagaz, compared to in October 2022, this indicator increased by 33.5 million cubic meters or by about 113%.
By November 30, 2022, household consumers paid 99.1% of invoiced amounts, which is 0.1% more compared to the same period in 2021. In the case of non-household consumers (legal entities), the share of transfers was 99.3%, with an increase of 0.5 percentage points.
Enterprises in the energy and thermal sector in the country paid their bills to the extent of 99.9%, which is 0.3 percentage points more compared to the same period last year.

The compensation for the consumption of natural gas in November 2022 in the amount of 357.9 million lei was calculated for household consumers in the number of 568 thousand personal accounts. At the same time, for household consumers from tenants’ associations in a total number of 6,874 places of consumption, the volume of compensation was 5.6 million lei, depending on the energy vulnerability category assigned.
During the reference period, 617 consumption units were disconnected from the natural gas distribution network, the debts of their owners being around 1.5 million lei. At the same time, the condition of preventive payment was applied to 380 consumers, as a consequence of the previous suspension of the supply of natural gas for non-payment within the term of the counter value of the consumed natural gas.
According to “Moldovagaz” SA data, the total level of payment for natural gas consumption on November 30, 2022 reached 10.569 billion lei and covers 99.4% of the supplied volume.
Currently, the price of a cubic meter of gas is 29.27 lei.
