More money for EU4Moldova project

The budget of the EU4Moldova project, intended to strengthen the capacity to respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency and the institutional capacity to implement the Association Agreement, will be increased by 138,328 euros. The decision was approved, in yesterday’s meeting of the Government, the project for initiating negotiations and amending the Financing Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the European Commission regarding the realization of this project.

Financial contributions are given to our country in the form of a grant by the World Health Organization, the Central Project Management Agency, the Development Agency of Lithuania, and Expertise France.

The financing agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the European Commission was signed on October 20, 2020, constituting, at that time, non-refundable assistance in the amount of 9 million euros.
