Natalia Gavrilița to attend the funeral of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe

Natalia Gavrilița left yeasterday for the Land of the Rising Sun. The Prime Minister attends the funeral of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Natalia Gavrilița’s agenda includes the bilateral meeting with her Japanese counterpart, Fumio Kishida. The officials will make a retrospective of the Moldovan-Japanese collaboration relations and will point out the possibilities of intensifying the cooperation on segments of common interest.

At the same time, the head of the Executive will meet with the president of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Nabuhiko Sasaki, and with the president of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Akihiko Tanaka.

“The Prime Minister will also talk with Yoshio Sato, the president of the Committee for Europe within the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren), but also with Sam Mogi, the president of the Committee for Foreign Relations within the Keizai Doyukai organization and the general manager of the Kikkoman company”, the Government also announces.

The Japanese will see Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on his last journey on September 27. The Chief Executive of Japan died after an attack that took place in early July.

Abe was prime minister for more than eight years. He served two terms and was influential in Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and was campaigning when he was killed.

Japan has sent information about Shinzo Abe’s burial to all countries with diplomatic ties to the Tokyo administration.
