IPN reports that authorities in Chisinau may declare three Russian diplomats persona non grata in Transnistria, citing diplomatic sources. Journalists note that officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are determining when to summon Ambassador Oleg Ozerov to inform him of the decision.
Anonymous security sources acknowledged the Foreign Ministry’s plans but did not determine the exact number of Russian embassy representatives facing expulsion.
If three diplomats leave the mission, the Russian embassy in Moldova will retain six diplomatic representatives and 15 technical staff members.

Authorities may proceed with the expulsions following revelations from Alexandru Musteata, head of the Intelligence and Security Service, who stated that Russian embassy staff helped Alexandr Nesterovschi leave constitutionally controlled territory and reach the Transnistrian region.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the government in Chisinau have not yet commented on the security officers’ disclosures.
