New measures to facilitate and promote the export of agricultural products from Moldova

“In order to facilitate and promote the export of perishable agricultural products originating in the Republic of Moldova”, the Management of the Customs Service held on Wednesday, June 1, a working meeting with the Management of the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA), during which the Joint Order was signed .

Specifically, in the Common Order, the institutions set out the mechanism for facilitating and prioritizing the export of easily perishable products and the process of crossing the border with this type of goods.

“During the state of emergency, in order to ensure the optimal conditions for the export of perishable agricultural products by the representatives of the institutions (SV and ANSA), the necessary conditions will be ensured for customs clearance and crossing of the customs border primarily of perishable agricultural products exported from Moldova.” .

According to the officials, the export of perishable agricultural products of origin from the Republic of Moldova will be prioritized, and the AEO track will be used for the crossing, on which the “PERISABLE / PRIORITY TRANSPORT” marking will be installed.

It should be noted that this marking will be placed on the windshield of trucks that will export perishable agricultural products originating in the Republic of Moldova, and will serve as a priority for transition.
