The theme of the European course of the Republic of Moldova was the topic addressed during the show “In Profunzime” on PROTV Chisinau. During it, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu, declared that the biggest challenge on our way to the EU is the evolution of the war in Ukraine.
“The biggest challenge is the evolution of the war in Ukraine. Obviously, at this stage we cannot know when and where this war will stop and under what conditions. This affects the absolute security of all states, including the Republic of Moldova. The war affects the economy, the prices of energy products. In this context, the biggest challenges in the coming months or even years depend on the evolution and mode of this war and these Russian aggressions against Ukraine that create the greatest risks for the entire European continent. “
