Nikolaos Krikos stated that the Hellenic Republic and the Republic of Moldova share a deep historical connection with roots stretching back across centuries.
He said this historical connection now shapes a solid, concrete, and forward-looking partnership. He also noted that Europe faces difficult times, as Russia’s aggression against Ukraine challenges peace, security, democracy, and the fundamental values of democratic societies.
The ambassador added that the Hellenic Republic consistently supports the European path of the Republic of Moldova.
Krikos concluded: “A European Moldova is a safer Moldova.”
