“Orheiul Vechi” Reservation will be restored with over 1 million euros

The cultural and historical heritage of the “Orheiul Vechi” Reserve in the Republic of Moldova and the “George Enescu” Memorial House in Liveni (Romania) will be restored based on the cross-border project History and Music – values ​​that bring us together, accessed within the Joint Operational Program Romania – Republic of Moldova 2014-2020.

In this sense, the representatives of the Office for the Management of External Assistance Programs (Diana Grosu-Axenti and Marina Preteca-Neaga) made a documentary visit today to the Ministry of Culture to talk with the Secretary of State Ion Budeci and the director of the Cultural-Natural Reserve “Orheiul Vechi”, Ion Ciobanu, about the objectives and planned activities within the project.

The project has a total budget of 1,365,749.62 euros and was obtained following the partnership between the Botoşani County Museum of History, as partner, and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova, as applicant.
