The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe unanimously adopted the resolution on honoring the obligations and commitments of the Republic of Moldova within the monitoring process. The announcement was made last night by the vice-president of the Parliament, Mihail Popșoi, who is in Strasbourg.
“The most positive and encouraging resolution in the 27 years since Moldova became a member of the Council of Europe. In the absence of any amendments, which indicates the excellent quality of the report, this resolution provides a solid foundation to begin the steps to move to the post-monitoring stage in the near future. The progress of the Republic of Moldova in the field of reforms, despite all the difficulties, is appreciated by the European community. Moldova succeeds!”, Popșoi wrote on his Facebook page.
