The photo book Moldova.Lookbook by Moldovan photographer Natalia Garbu has been shortlisted for the Sony World Photography Awards in the professional category “Documentary Projects.”
“Moldova faces a complex set of challenges and influences. Patriarchal tendencies, economic struggles, Orthodox traditions, and historical ties have uniquely shaped its society,” reads the description of Natalia Garbu’s work.
