The first batch of eggs for consumption from the Republic of Moldova arrived on the EU market on Wednesday, November 20. The National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) made the announcement.
“On November 20, 2024, the first batch of eggs for consumption (category A) from the Republic of Moldova arrived on the European Union (EU) market. Thus, the producer I.M.” BP -Nord” S.R.L. from Bleșteni commune, Edinet district, which on October 08, 2024, was listed with the right to export to the European market, today launched the first export operation of table eggs,” ANSA reports.
The cited source recommends that economic agents explore the European Union market by submitting an export request to ANSA.

“We are open to providing all necessary support to help food operators align with EU standards by modernizing production units and egg collection, marking, and packing centers. We are confident that, through a joint effort, it will be easier for local products of animal origin to gain access to the largest international markets,” the Agency’s press release said.
