The head of state thanked Zdob si Zdub and the Advahov brothers for bringing the country’s fame “as many times as possible.”
Eurovision 2022 took place this year in Turin, Italy, on May 10-14, 2022. In the grand final, 25 countries fought for the trophy of the prestigious competition.
The band Zdob and Zdub, who represented Moldova together with the Advahov brothers, entered the Book of Records Eurovision Song Contest due to the fact that it is the only band in the history of this contest that reached the Eurovision final three times in three different decades.
