Prime Minister Dorin Recean is taken a working visit to Switzerland and Liechtenstein

Prime Minister Dorin Recan is making a working visit to the Swiss Confederation (June 25-26) and the Principality of Liechtenstein (June 26-28) on the occasion of the signing of the Free Trade Agreement with the countries of the European Free Trade Association (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland). The head of government is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Dumitru Alaiba, the government department for press relations and protocol informs.

The head of the executive branch meets in Zurich with the diaspora of our country within the framework of the event dedicated to the National Costume Day, organized in Switzerland by the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova together with the Association “Rădăcinile Noastre.”

On Monday, the prime minister will meet with representatives of the Google corporation in the country, with whom he will discuss the possibilities of cooperation with the Moldovan authorities and the business environment. The program also includes a promotional event presenting our country’s economic and business potential under the general title: Free Trade Agreement Republic of Moldova – AELS: a new era of trade and investment in Moldova.

A meeting will be held in Vaduz with his Liechtenstein counterpart, Prime Minister Daniel Risch, with whom ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation will be discussed.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Dorin Recean and his deputy Dumitru Alaiba will participate in the signing of an ambitious and comprehensive Free Trade Agreement with the AELS countries, as well as meetings with representatives of the region’s business environment and local authorities.

The visit program will end with the reception of the Chisinau delegation by the Crown Prince of the Principality Alois de Liechtenstein.
