Realitatea correspondent at the Monte Carlo TV Festival: awards to the best of the best

The 62nd TV Festival is taking place in Monte Carlo. Realitatea correspondent Traian Stoianov went there. He is the only journalist from the Republic of Moldova present at the event.

Monte Carlo TV Festival was founded in 1961 by the Prince Rainier III of Monaco to reward the best international TV projects. Since 1988, Albert II, Head of the House of Grimaldi and current Ruler of the Principality of Monaco, has been the Honorary Chairman of the Festival.

Winners will be determined in the “News,” “Feature Film,” and “Documentary” categories and given special prizes, including the Prince Rainier III Award. All winners will receive the “Golden Nymph.” A reproduction of Nymph of Salmakida by the sculptor François Joseph Bosio, the original of which is on display in the Louvre in Paris.
