Former Moldovan Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita has been honored with the Women Political Leaders (WPL) Trailblazer Award. The award took place during a summit in Brussels dedicated to women politicians from around the world.
“I am grateful for this award, given to women who have the courage and determination to enter politics to change people’s lives for the better. My experience convinces me that thanks to such women, Moldova achieves remarkable results and reaches new heights,” Natalia Gavrilitsa wrote on Facebook.
In addition to Gavrilitsa, Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin, former Irish President Mary Robinson, and Ethiopian President Sahle-Work Zewde were the laureates of the award.
