The European Union continues to support the Republic of Moldova. The President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, made the statement during the meeting with Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița, in Bavaria, Germany.
“Moldova has shown great determination in promoting reforms, defending European values, and rejecting hybrid threats. As a candidate country for the EU, we will continue to support Moldova“, wrote Roberta Metsola on Twitter, after the meeting with Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița.
Natalia Gavrilița was on an official visit to Germany. The Prime Minister participated in the closed session of the parliamentary group of the Christian-Social Union in the German Bundestag, where several current topics were addressed, including the current security and economic challenges, the issue of migration, but also the consequences generated by the war the Russian Federation started against Ukraine.
