Russia Violates Moldova’s Airspace Again: Rocket Fragments Reported in Transnistria Region

According to reports from the Transnistrian region, Russia has once again violated the airspace of the Republic of Moldova. Authorities in the separatist region state that the incident involved fragments of a missile identified as an S-300, manufactured in the year 1968.

Preliminary information indicates that there were no casualties or damage. The missile landed in a garden, and its warhead did not detonate.

“The state authorities will continue to keep the public informed as we receive more verified information about this incident,” the Ministry of Defense stated.

Oleg Beleakov, the representative of Tiraspol in the Joint Control Commission, confirmed the presence of an S-300 missile in the region. Elements of this missile, produced in 1968, fell in a garden in the village of Chițcani. No casualties or damages have been reported.
