The REALITATEA press group announces the appointment of Ms. Valentina Canașina as editor-in-chief and member of the board. The appointment of Ms. Valentina Canașina as editor-in-chief at REALITATEA is the result of changes in the group’s management structure, following the retirement of the former editor-in-chief, Mr. Petru Cosoi, from the media for an indefinite period.
Ms. Valentina Canașina has 15 years of experience in television, online and communication,
during which time she started from field reporter to multilateral coordination of TV and online
productions.

journalistic values, promoting objective, impartial and independent news.”
Based on the experience and dedication offered to the media field and the journalistic
profession, we are happy to entrust this great responsibility to Mrs. Valentina Canașina. With
the appointment in this responsible position, Ms. Valentina Canașina becomes a member of the REALITATEA Board and will be part of the content management team, being supported by
Mr. Sergiu Scobioală, general producer of the group, as well as the business management team, represented by Mrs. Otilia Cotruța, Executive Director, Mrs. Cristina Moșneaga-Barbaruc, Administrator and Mr. Dumitru Țîra, the founder of REALITATEA.
We express the conviction that the professionalism and the special work capacity of Valentina
Canașina will certainly contribute to the advancement to a new level of development of the
news platforms realitatea.md, bani.md, rupor.md, rlive.md, moldovalive.md and of the
television RLIVE TV.
This decision comes in the context of the leap of consolidation and development of the
Realitatea group during 2021 and 2022, achieved by doubling the audience, launching the first live broadcast television – RLIVE TV, as well as the new rupor.md platforms in Russian and
MoldovaLive.md in English.
