The Central Electoral Commission conducted public consultations on three draft normative acts following the electoral law: Regulations for Establishing and Operating Polling Stations for Left Bank Dniester River Voters, Regulations for Pre-Registration, and Regulations for Establishing Polling Stations Abroad.

A member of the Central Electoral Commission presented the main aspects of the three draft regulations. The participants discussed the organization of polling stations for voters in settlements on the left bank of the Dniestre. Furthermore, the meeting covered inter-institutional collaboration, deadlines for establishing polling stations, and the receipt of electoral documents.

Special attention was given to the pre-registration system’s functionality, the deadline for voters to pre-register, and other pertinent matters.

“The discussion also covered the authorities’ efforts to collaborate with host countries in identifying polling station locations, as well as the information held by state authorities on Moldovan citizens living abroad. Additionally, the setup of polling stations abroad was addressed.” Central Electoral Commission communication.
