This spring, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands is to be inaugurated in Chisinau. The announcement was made by the President of the Parliament, Igor Grosu, following the meeting with Ambassador Roelof van Ees.
“Today I had a farewell meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Chisinau, with residence in Bucharest, Mr. Roelof van Ees. I thanked Ambassador Roelof van Ees for the support offered over time to the Republic of Moldova in terms of strengthening democracy and good governance, but also for the help offered in recent years. I also received some good news.
In May, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands will be inaugurated in Chisinau. This decision from The Hague will increase our bilateral contacts, especially on the trade dimension, and will strengthen sectoral partnerships on our way to European integration”, Igor Grosu announced on Facebook.

The President of the Parliament wished success to the diplomat, expressing his confidence that the relationship between the two countries will be strengthened in order to develop and modernize the Republic of Moldova.
We specify that, at the moment, the Kingdom of the Netherlands has only the Embassy office open in Chisinau. It is subordinate to the Dutch diplomatic mission in Bucharest.
