On the evening of May 9th, the Parliament building in Chisinau was festively lit in the colors of the European Union flag. Such an activity is applied in the series of actions carried out by the Legislature dedicated to Europe Day and Victory Day.
At the same time, on the occasion of Europe Day, a rich program of events was organized in Moldova. Scheduled for May, the events will take place under the motto “Solidarity for Peace”.
The events will highlight the culture and values of the European Union, as well as the assistance provided by the EU and the Member States to support the European team and for the benefit of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova.
Europe Day is a celebration of the peace and unity of the Member States of the European Union and has been celebrated annually since 9 May 1950.
