The French Development Agency comes to the Republic of Moldova. The executive voted at Wednesday’s meeting on two projects targeting the entity.
The agency will provide assistance, training and support to organizations in the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, it was approved to sign credit assistance with it, amounting to 15 million euros.
The project will be signed by representatives of the foreign ministries of the two states. The money is to be used for the needs of the state budget, including medicine, education, social services, investments in energy infrastructure or agriculture.

The loan was signed for 15 years. The money will be returned in 20 equal installments, and the interest rate is fixed and is 1.38% per annum. The costs of servicing the loan will be borne by the Republic of Moldova.
The project seems to be approved in the context of Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Chisinau. He is to arrive in the capital of the Republic of Moldova and have talks with Maia Sandu.
