The National Alternative Movement (MAN) has announced its withdrawal from the Alternativa Bloc, while, for now, maintaining its presence in the parliamentary faction. The announcement was made by the party’s leader, Ion Ceban, who said the decision followed consultations with citizens and bloc representatives.

“MAN deputies will conduct their activity strictly in accordance with decisions taken within the party and will not be responsible for the actions or statements of other representatives,” Ceban stated.

At the same time, the party emphasized that it dissociates itself from any actions or positions that contradict the interests of citizens, the country, and the European integration path of the Republic of Moldova. Ceban stressed that the national interest must remain a priority and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to a free, independent, and democratic state with European values.

The Alternativa Bloc was created at the beginning of 2025. Its founding agreement was signed on February 7 by Ion Ceban (MAN), Ion Chicu (Party for the Development and Consolidation of Moldova – PDCM), Alexandr Stoianoglo (former Prosecutor General and presidential candidate), and Mark Tkaciuk (Civic Congress Party).

On June 25, 2025, the Central Electoral Commission of Moldova (CEC) officially registered the bloc for participation in the parliamentary elections.
