The minimum wage will be 3500 lei. It concerns both the public and the real sector

The minimum wage will be 3500 lei for a full work schedule of 169 hours and will be applied both in the budgetary and in the real sector. This was supported by the Cabinet of Ministers and represents the unification of the minimum wage at country level.

“Through this unification, salary equity will be ensured in the two sectors of activity, a principle provided both by the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and by the international obligations assumed by our country”, states the Government.

It should be noted that the minimum wage per country was established for the last time in 2014, in the amount of 1000 lei.
