The Moldova-EU Parliamentary Association Committee to meet in session

On Tuesday, November 1, the Chisinau Parliament will host the meeting of the Republic of Moldova – European Union Parliamentary Association Committee (CPA RM-EU).

The meeting will be co-chaired by the Vice President of the Parliament Mihail Popșoi and MEP Siegfried Mureșan, the President of the EU Delegation to the CPA EU-RM.

The delegation of the European Parliament will be in Chisinau between October 31 and November 2 and will have meetings with the country’s leadership – the President of the Parliament, Igor Grosu, the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, and the Prime Minister, Natalia Gavrilița.

The agenda also includes meetings with the members of the Action and Solidarity Party parliamentary factions and the Bloc of Communists and Socialists. Also, meetings are planned with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu, and the Minister of Justice, Sergiu Litvinenco.

The Republic of Moldova – European Union Parliamentary Association Committee represents the parliamentary forum of the EU – Republic of Moldova Association Agreement. It includes members appointed by both the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova and the European Parliament, which meet twice a year, alternately in Chisinau and Brussels.
