The Moldovan flag, raised in Brussels, next to that of the EU

On the occasion of the visit of the delegation of the Republic of Moldova led by Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița to Brussels, Belgium, the flag of the Republic of Moldova was raised next to that of the European Union (EU). An image showing this was published on Monday, February 6, by the Minister of Economy, Dumitru Alaiba, who proved to be present there as well.

“Today, on the occasion of our visit, the flag of the Republic of Moldova is raised in Brussels next to that of the European Union. We will reach the time when the flag of our country will be permanent, on an equal footing, alongside the other EU member states. And the Republic of Moldova will be an EU member state. These times are near”, wrote Dumitru Alaiba on his official Facebook page.
