The national Olympic team won a bronze medal and an honorable mention at the European Mathematical Olympiad for Girls

Moldova’s Olympic team won a bronze medal and an honorable mention at the European Mathematical Olympiad for Girls, held in Tskaltubo, Georgia, on 11-17 April this year.

According to the Ministry of Education and Research, Anastasia Corsac, a student of the “Orizont” Theoretical High School, DurleČ™ti, Chisinau, won the bronze medal, and Bianca Iordachi, a student of the same school, won the honorable mention.

The 212 students from 54 countries attended the 13th European Mathematical Olympiad for Girls. Four students and two teachers represented the Republic of Moldova.
