The Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) officially launched its campaign for the September 28 parliamentary elections under the slogan “With the PAS into Europe.” The party held the event in front of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre Maria Biesu, where hundreds of supporters from across Moldova gathered.
The PAS leaders urged citizens to vote for a Parliament that will secure Moldova’s path toward the European Union.
“Moldova is on the right path for peace and development. Moldova is Europe,” the party declared at the campaign launch.
The Party leader, Igor Grosu, honored the Moldovans who fought for national values in 1989–1990 and stressed that today’s generation must complete the country’s European integration.

Igor Grosu stated:
“We carry a duty! We must truly become the generation of European integration—and we will achieve it. I see many people from the diaspora here today. You are part of us. I bow with deep respect to our diaspora, who know what it means to work honestly, to care for a home, and to care for your country. The size of a country does not matter—what matters is the quality of its people, to be respected! Here at home, we decide how we live. We speak with sincerity and act with clarity in our intentions.”
Vice-President of Parliament Doina Gherman highlighted Moldova’s international recognition, also emphasizing the necessity to stay firmly on the European path.
Doina Gherman declared:
“It is our duty, all of us, to do everything we can so that it stays that way! I am so proud of how Moldova is viewed and valued everywhere in the world! We are truly respected! We are heard! We are admired for our courage and resolution! Wherever we go in the world, I am told with pride that Moldovans are highly valued people! We cannot and do not want to become an anonymous dot on the map again. We, in the past, will not return!”
Addressing the audience were other PAS representatives, including Dan Perciun, Natalia Davidovici, and several candidates from the electoral list.
The PAS campaign launch coincided with the official start of Moldova’s electoral campaign, which opened today with the registration of two electoral blocs and one political party. Moldova will hold parliamentary elections on September 28.
