The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova (CCI of RM), Sergiu Harea, is on a working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 16 to 23 May, marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral economic and trade relations.
The President of the CCI of the RM met with the management of Dubai Chambers. The topics discussed included various forms of cooperation at the institutional level, services offered, assistance in establishing contacts between businesses, and measures for developing all forms of foreign economic activity.
They also emphasized the role of the Chamber of Commerce in attracting investment and improving the business environment, market entry strategies and opportunities, and promoting goods and services through organizing trade fairs and exhibitions, business missions, and B2B and B2Matching events.
Additionally, they highlighted the export potential of Moldovan fruits and vegetables to the UAE market.

At the same time, the President of the CCI of Moldova, Sergiu Harea, continued his official visit to Abu Dhabi Chamber. The purpose of the meeting was to identify and discuss new opportunities for the development of bilateral economic cooperation, including in the areas of investment and new technologies, according to the press release issued by the Chamber of Commerce.
In this context, the signing of a memorandum of understanding and a visit by a delegation of UAE businessmen to Moldova occurred to strengthen bilateral trade, economic, and investment cooperation.
