Realitatea correspondent Traian Stoianov is at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival today, June 20, where many big names from the world of cinema have gathered, including American actor and producer James Lafferty. He is best known for his role as Nathan Scott in the teen series One Tree Hill.
Traian Stoianov took the opportunity to present the star with the symbol of REALITATEA – an orange star, as an official invitation to visit our country and possibly film new projects in Moldova. The actor was visibly surprised and thanked our correspondent with a loud “thank you” in Romanian.
Monte Carlo TV Festival was founded in 1961 by the Prince Rainier III of Monaco to reward the best international TV projects. Since 1988, Albert II, Head of the House of Grimaldi and current Ruler of the Principality of Monaco, has been the Honorary Chairman of the Festival.
Winners will be determined in the “News,” “Feature Film,” and “Documentary” categories and given special prizes, including the Prince Rainier III Award. All winners will receive the “Golden Nymph.” A reproduction of Nymph of Salmakida by the sculptor François Joseph Bosio, the original of which is on display in the Louvre in Paris.
