The ”Respect Moldova” submitted documents to the CEC to register for the electoral race: The list of the first 25 candidates

The “Respect Moldova Movement” Party submitted the required documents to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) to register for the parliamentary elections on September 28.

The file includes a list of 101 candidates for deputy and the signed consents from each one to participate in the autumn election.

The CEC will review the documents and will decide within seven days whether to register the “Respect Moldova” Party for the electoral competition.

The National Political Council of the “Respect Moldova Movement” Party unanimously approved the list of 101 candidates for the September 28 parliamentary elections.

“I am proud to present a team of professionals, dedicated and determined to bring the positive change our country needs. The list of the ‘Respect Moldova Movement’ Party includes experts in areas such as economy, law, finance, energy, central and local public administration, health, education, tourism, environment, and more. Each candidate was selected based on competence, experience, and commitment to the common good,” said party president Marian Lupu.

The first 25 candidates for deputy in the September 28 elections include:

  1. Marian Lupu – president of Respect Moldova Movement; former deputy, acting president of Moldova, speaker of Parliament, head of the Court of Accounts, and economy minister
  2. Victor Micu – vice president, former judge, and head of the Superior Council of Magistracy
  3. Eugeniu Nichiforciuc – vice president; former deputy
  4. Lilia Pogolsa – vice president; former minister of Education, Culture, and Research
  5. Radu Burduja – vice president; former state secretary at the Ministry of Defense
  6. Iulia Costin – vice president; former state secretary at the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure
  7. Veaceslav Manolachi – vice president; former rector of the State University of Physical Education and Sports
  8. Ion Dascal – president of the Drochia Territorial Organization; former president of Drochia district
  9. Liliana Buzila – president of the National Women’s Organization; chair of the Management Council at Moldova’s National Inbound Tourism Association (ANTRIM)
  10. Valentina Tapes – vice president; former environment minister
  11. Veaceslav Burlac – vice president; former president of Criuleni district and president of the Union of District Councils of Moldova
  12. Nicolae Cicariov – secretary general; former chief of the Botanica Police Inspectorate in Chisinau
  13. Victor Sau – president of Soroca Territorial Organization; former mayor and president of the Soroca district
  14. Efrosinia Gretu – vice president of Leova Territorial Organization; former deputy
  15. Nicolae Gonta – member of Soldanesti Territorial Organization; former mayor of Raspopeni village
  16. Eduard Grama – vice president, former agriculture minister
  17. Veaceslav Nigai – vice president, deputy
  18. Ina Bocan – president of Nisporeni Women’s Organization; district councilor in Nisporeni
