The Romanian company “Transelectrica” supplied energy for the Republic of Moldova this morning

The transport operator “Moldelectrica” turned to “Transelectrica” from Romania for the supply of energy. Thanks to this fact, it was possible to avoid disconnections. The announcement was made by the state secretary in the field of energy, Constantin Borosan, on the public television station.

“From 7 in the morning until now we are counting on this way of covering the deficit without resorting to disconnections. We are in permanent contact with colleagues from Romania. We thank them for this. We continue to rely on the generous support of the Romanian people and Government”, said Constantin Borosan.

Borosan stated that today a commercial contract for 100 megawatts per hour could be finalized, which will be procured on the market.
