On Monday, July 21, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) received registration requests from three potential independent candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for September 28, 2025.
Natalia Clevadi, Victoria Sanduta, and Victor Grosu submitted applications to obtain signature collection sheets, a required step for running independently.
To qualify for registration, independent candidates must submit signature lists with at least 2,000 and no more than 2,500 valid signatures from eligible voters. Female candidates are allowed to submit a minimum of 1,000 signatures under a special provision.
