Three Moldovans secured a place on the rostrum at the European Boxing Championships

Boxers Alexandru Paraskiv (63.5 kg), Vasile Cebotari (71 kg), and Daria Kozorez (+81 kg) have qualified for the semifinals of the European Championships held in Belgrade and secured at least the bronze medal, IPN reports.

They beat Malik Hasanov of Azerbaijan, Jovan Nikolic of Serbia, and Reka Hoffman of Hungary.

Among those who competed in the quarterfinals are also Ion Plinga (48 kg), Danila Ocoman (57 kg), Ianus Caravan (67 kg), Davron Bozorov (75 kg), Dumitru Cosiug (80 kg), Andrei Chiriacov (86 kg), Andrei Zaplitnii (92 kg), Nicolae Burduja (+92 kg), and Iulia Coroli (54 kg).

The European Boxing Championships in Belgrade ends on April 28.
