The Parliament ratified two more financing agreements for the implementation of the Program “Moldova, measures in a situation of urgency, resilience and competitiveness. The operation of development policies ”. It is about 159.24 million US dollars, provided by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the International Development Association (IDA).
The resources will be used to implement the strategies established by the Government in mitigating the negative effects generated by the war in Ukraine. These will be spent including to ensure the resilience and competitiveness of the Republic of Moldova.

The policy measures provide for actions related to allowing refugees from Ukraine to enter the territory of the Republic of Moldova with the national identity card and facilitating their employment, employment of children from refugee families in our country, strengthening social protection programs , increasing the capacity to generate energy from renewable sources, increasing the financial resilience of households, etc. a.
Agreements with IBRD and IDA for the implementation of the Program were concluded on July 4, 2022. These will be implemented in the form of budget support. Of the total amount of $ 159.24 million, 9.24 is the grant component.
