Ukrainian singer Olya Polyakova was involved in a road accident together with her elder daughter while traveling toward Odesa. The artist announced the incident on Instagram.
Images published by Polyakova indicate that the accident may have occurred in the Republic of Moldova. The footage shows vehicles with Moldovan license plates, while the emergency medical workers who responded to the scene appear to be wearing uniforms of Moldova’s emergency medical service.
According to Polyakova, her daughter sustained a nose injury and fractured a tooth.
“God, people, we had an accident. Masha broke her nose… Someone crashed into us, and we ended up in a ditch,” the singer said shortly after the collision.
Polyakova later said the accident was caused by another vehicle whose driver allegedly failed to follow traffic rules.
“They say a girl was driving. She simply made a sharp turn in the middle of the road, and we went straight into the ditch,” the singer recounted, adding that her daughter was taken away by ambulance.
Polyakova did not specify whether she herself was injured or provide further details about her condition.
