The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Moldova, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, is set to implement joint initiatives and programs aimed at facilitating multicultural exchange between refugees, host communities, and cultural institutions. Yesterday, both parties signed a memorandum of understanding to formalize their commitment to this endeavor, as reported by MOLDPRES.

The memorandum outlines plans for organizing cultural events, exhibitions, workshops, and educational activities that promote intercultural dialogue and understanding.

In addition to the planned activities, UNHCR and the Ministry of Culture will collaborate to identify a “Goodwill Ambassador” who will unite efforts in addressing the challenges faced by refugees, asylum seekers, and other beneficiaries.
