USAID contributes to the expansion of competitive opportunities for companies in the Republic of Moldova to support their development and sustainable economic growth.
The Bridge program launched by the Investment Agency in partnership with the Future Technologies Project, funded by USAID and Sweden, extends its assistance to companies in the tourism, viticulture, horticulture, and beekeeping sectors with the support of the USAID Rural Competitiveness and Resilience Project in Moldova.
Bridge supports the efforts of companies that aim to expand their market or adopt innovative technologies by participating in international events, such as forums, summits, B2B meet-ups, business conferences, fairs and exhibitions, festivals, international competitions, and study visits.

It is expected to support around 120 companies from the tourism, viticulture, horticulture, and beekeeping sectors during the current year.
According to the Bridge Program Regulations, interested entrepreneurs or organizations can request reimbursement of expenses up to $1500 per company for event participation fees, international flight and transportation services, and accommodation services.
The implementation of the Bridge Program for the tourism and wine sector is facilitated by the National Association for Inbound and Domestic Tourism, and for the horticulture and beekeeping sector – by the Moldova Fruit Association.
