UTM and GTU Forge Strategic Alliance: Paving the Way for Innovation in Moldova and Georgia

UTM and GTU, technical universities in Moldova and Georgia, have formed a significant collaboration, marking a pivotal moment in international education and research. During a five-day visit to Tbilisi, the Rector of UTM, Prof. Dr. Viorel BOSTAN, and the Rector of GTU, Acad., Prof., Dr. David GURGENIDZE, laid the foundation for a sustainable partnership. The agreement focuses on education, research, and innovation, emphasizing cutting-edge technologies and digital innovations, as well as supporting technological startups.

The signed Cooperation Agreement establishes a long-term collaboration, facilitating internships, exchange programs, study visits, and training. Both universities are leaders in engineering and innovation in their countries, actively contributing to significant international projects and scientific experiments.

Rector Viorel BOSTAN highlighted the importance of the collaboration, aiming to create a platform for knowledge exchange and innovation. Rector David GURGENIDZE expressed enthusiasm for strengthening international partnerships and providing exceptional learning opportunities.
