Local authorities inaugurated an “Olympic Dream” mural dedicated to Moldovan athletes who will compete at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games on Friday, 24 May, in Chisinau. It adorned the facade of a building in the capital’s center, at the intersection of Ismail Street and Stefan cel Mare Boulevard.
“I wished the 14 athletes who have already qualified for this year’s Olympics every success, noting that we all want the state anthem to resound as often as possible in Paris. At the same time, I wanted to reiterate that the Chisinau City Hall will continue, together with our athletes, to organize events to promote sports and healthy lifestyles.
I want to point out that, in partnership with the National Olympic and Sports Committee, the Chisinau City Hall has also launched a campaign to promote the Paris 2024 Olympic Team on three trolleybuses and two buses under the slogan “Support the Olympic Team!”. Chisinau City Hall will also organize other events to promote and publicize the event. The promotion campaign will take place from 24 May to 8 September 2024″, reads a message from Ion Ceban.
The 2024 Paris Olympic Games will be from 26 July to 11 August.
