Dumitru Obada, Government Agent of the Republic of Moldova at the European Court of Human Rights, has resigned. The announcement was made at Thursday’s cabinet meeting. The government accepted the request.
“It is proposed to dismiss Mr. Dumitru Obada from the position of government agent, representative of the Republic of Moldova to the European Court of Human Rights, as of 21 December based on the resignation request,” the justice minister said.

Obada has more than 11 years of experience and previously worked in the Prosecutor General’s Office (PG) and the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (PA).
Dumitru Obada is also a candidate for the position of member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors (CSP), and previously he passed the evaluation of the Pre-Vetting Commission.
