Princess Margareta of Romania sent a Christmas message of solidarity and support to the citizens of the Republic of Moldova. She said that we currently need a lot of support.
The Crown Custodian expressed the hope that Moldovans and Romanians living abroad will have reasons to return home. “The country needs them,” she said.
“Romanians abroad have made efforts for their families and have shown professionalism and attachment to their communities. I hope that, before too long, Romanians will have reasons to return home to Romania and the Republic of Moldova. The country needs them more than ever.
Let us not forget next year that Moldova’s European path needs support. Romania’s security and stability depend on the balance of our region and of Europe as a whole.
I wish Romanians in the country, in the Republic of Moldova and far away – Happy New Year with health, hope, and peace of mind! May God help us all!” said Princess Margareta of Romania.
